I created this one page magazine advertisement for a student project. The assignment was to make an illustration of a product and incorporate that illustration into an ad, so I drew these IZZE bottles and their little personified counterparts. I think my little cannibalistic fruits are refreshingly weird.
I chose not to fill the space with copy, instead letting the illustration dominate the space and incorporate a simple call to action with a play on words. There's nothing to distract from the brand recognition and it doesn't ask the audience to take more than a second or two away from their reading to make its point.
